Race Preview: 2017 North County Wine Run (Battle Ground, WA)

Race for a great cause! On Saturday September 23rd, 2017 the 7th Annual North County Wine Run is being held to raise funds to support recovery efforts for the Eagle Creek Fire. Run this half marathon as a 3 person relay team, or solo. The course begins at Rusty Grape Vineyard, and will go through Olequa Cellars & Heisen House Vineyards. The area is beautiful and has become Washington’s newest emerging wine region.

The North County Wine Run offers runners and walkers the opportunity to experience the beauty of this region. Paved country road routes highlight the gorgeous scenery of north Clark County: rolling hills, rural landscapes, and views of Mt. St. Helens.

This half marathon is part of the Washington Series where you can take on the challenge of completing several races in Washington and earn points towards awards. The Post-Event Wine Celebration features a wide variety of fine artisan wines by Heisen House Vineyard, Olequa Cellars and Rusty Grape Vineyard. Runners are invited to relax, sip on fine wine, and enjoy delicious food while listening to live music. Great prizes and awards will be raffled off to race participants. Join the fun and support a great cause!
