Small Race Preview: 2017 Road to Recovery 5K (Bend)

The 6th Annual Road to Recovery 5K will be held at Drake Park in Bend. This fun run/walk benefits Central Oregon’s branch of National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). This annual event raises awareness of mental health care needs and resources in Central Oregon and includes post-race education and outreach by top mental health providers in Central Oregon.

NAMI’s dedicated volunteers have made it the nation’s leading grassroots advocacy organization to improve the lives and support the families of persons with mental illnesses: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, schizoaffective disorder, and anxiety disorders.

The Mission of NAMI-Central Oregon is to improve the quality of life for persons living with mental health issues, and their families through support, education and advocacy.

Live music, food, and raffle prizes will follow the 5K. There will be a prize awarded for biggest team, so gather your friends, family, and co-workers and register as a team for this run or walk.
