Race Preview: 2017 ORRC Five On The 4th 5k (Wilsonville)

Holiday weekends are a great chance to run a race on a new-to-you route because there are many events held in less common locations. The 5 on the 4th 5k run in Wilsonville on July 4th is one of those races. The race starts and ends on the campus of Mentor Graphics and the course runs a big loop on local streets. The event is chip timed and walker friendly with a course limit of 2 hours.

The Oregon Road Runners Club (ORRC) has been putting on this 4th of July event for many years, and just as it has been since inception, it is free to ORRC members. If you are not an ORRC member, you can sign up for the race for $26, or you can join ORRC during registration for the race and receive a 100% discount on this event’s registration fees. (ORRC 12 month memberships are $45 for an individual, $70 for a family up to six members, and $25 for students.)
