Strava Segment of the Week: Attack of the Geese (PDX waterfront)

I liked the name of this segment, so this week our Strava Segment of the Week is the 0.1-mile curve from the RiverPlace hotel (at the base of SW Market Street) west-north-west-ish to just before running under the Hawthorne Bridge. It’s got 19 feet of elevation gain and then loss again, since you loop up towards Naito and then back towards the river. Check out the route for the Attack of the Geese here.

It’s (not surprisingly) a very popular route: So far, it’s been attempted 21,879 by 4,731 people. That’s pretty amazing.

Our segment from two weeks ago was the Upper Loop Roller at Battle Ground State Park, and there are no new CRs as of yet.
