Race Preview: 2017 ORRC Hagg Lake Runs

ORRC’s Hagg Lake Runs are just around the corner! This event is held at scenic Hagg Lake Park just outside of Forest Grove and about 45 minutes from downtown Portland. Choose from an out and back 5K or 10K, or run the 10.5 mile loop around Hagg Lake. Regardless of which distance you choose, each course promises to hold great views and gentle hills.

The Hagg Lake 10K is one of the races in ORRC’s 10K series, but it is also open to everyone. All races start at Boat Ramp C. The park admission fee and parking pass are part of your race entry fee. Parking passes will be mailed out before race day and handed out at Boat Ramp C.

The first 500 finishers at this chip-timed race will receive a pair of custom socks. Plaques will be given out to overall winners and ribbons will go to age division winners (5 deep) for each race. There will also be random drawings for prizes – including pies!

Please note: Dogs are NOT permitted at this race.

Oregon Road Runners Club (ORRC) always puts on well-organized events, so expect a quality race put on by runners for runners!

Times: 9:00 A.M.  – 5K, 10K, 10.5 mile run
8:00 A.M. – 10.5 mile walk

Entry Fee: $35 – all distances
$25 – ORRC members
$45 – Day of Race
