Race Preview: 2017 Lost Creek Trail Runs

Are you runners ready to get lost – lost at Lost Creek Trail Runs?! Get yourself ready for some beautiful single track trails filled with several beautiful viewpoints of Southern Oregon’s own Lost Creek Lake. Runners will get to run around this beautiful lake while seeing views of it along the way. With only 1,744 ft of elevation gain for the 30k, how can you go wrong? The 50k running same course as the 30k plus a 10k out and back.

This is a mostly single track trail run but with 2 miles of pavement and 1 mile of gravel. Now there are multiple race options starting with a 5k distance going up to 50k being the most distance. Also having an option of a 30k distance or a 30k Relay if you want to split that up to two legs with the first being 10.6 and finishing at the aid station and for the second leg is 8 miles.

Location: Joseph H. Stewart state park day use area, Lost Creek Lake, Trail, OR. Parking, and restrooms available at start/finish. (Campsites available at Joseph H. Stewart state campground.) Click for reservations.

When: 50K race starts at 8:00 am, 30K race starts 9:00 am, and 5K starts at 9:15, Saturday, April 22, 2016. Packet pickup & day of race registration 7:00- 8:30 am.

Other important information: There is a four-hour cut off for the 30k and must be 15 years of age to register. There will also be a post race soup for all runners.
