Read about the technical specs here, but for anyone who has had one – Hydro Flask delivers on its promises. It’s a challenge to “review” a tumbler, but I (along with a billion other Hydro Flask carriers) can attest to its properties. It keeps drinks super cold forever (hyperbolic, but not by much) and warm drinks in their peak zone for up to 6 hours. The tumblers include their new insulation (hyperlinked above).
The 32 ounce is probably too big for coffee (at least for me), but I discovered how amazingly ideal for smoothies. My weekend breakfast is always a kale, avocado, banana, and almond milk smoothie. I usually make enough for me to get to (and sometimes through) lunch, but I end up always having to drink it in relatively quick succession due to not wanting to drink a room temperature smoothie out of a glass. With the 32 ounce tumbler, I can pack around twice as much, keep it super cold, and utilize the new press-in lid with a straw. Worth it right there. The 22 ounce tumbler is perfect for a coffee on the go. The only drawback is my hope that they will develop a press-in lid that can be closed, for those of us who tend to be pretty clumsy and are in constant fear that coffee will end up on my dress shirts.
