Small Race Preview: 2017 Shamrock Run 5 Mile Walk/Run (Medford)

It’s not just PDX locals who get to have fun runnin’ in their green over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, runners and walkers of all ages can get their green on and enjoy participating in the lucky number 7th annual Shamrock Run in Medford.

Southern Oregon Runners donate more than $14,000 annually to the surrounding community including Access Food Bank, Crater High School and Friends of the Animal shelter to name a few. Come join fellow runners and walkers who love to dress up, come  enjoy some time with other participants on the football field once things are over with and enter to win hilarious and meaningful door prizes while enjoying music and a fun-filled and spirited environment.

What: Medford’s very own Shamrock Run/Walk (5 miles)

When: Sunday, March 18th @ 9:00 am

Where: Crater High School, 655 N 3rd St, Central Point, OR 97502

Course:  Start and Finish on Crater High School Track.  Run on the new extended Bear Creek Greenway.

Registration Info: early registration now through March 10th – $20 for early registration for non-club members | $15 early registration for SOR members| $7 for 18 and under always.  All processing fees are always included.  LATE and Day of registrations will be $25 for ALL runners, except 17 and under.

Divisions:  All including Wheel Devices.  Come set a new age group record!

Swag: Come set a new age group record!  Ribbons for all age groups thru 80’s(first through third place) | Random drawings for pre-registered only.  Must be present to win.

Kids Leprechaun Lap: FREE! Starts at 8:50 am. Kids chase Irish Mike around the track at Central Point High School.

Race Day Info: Plenty of parking on site at the high school. Bathrooms available. Chip timing. Music, snacks, prizes and photos taken of runners and their green costumes. NO dogs, strollers, headphones or bicycles.
