Minutes from Interstate 5 in Tualatin, the sprawling acreage of Lee Farms is the perfect spot for an obstacle mud run!  In addition to being a berry patch, pumpkin patch and Christmas tree farm, Lee Farms boasts infinite ways to put together a fun and challenging (not to mention muddy) course for athletes.  With at least twenty obstacles in the course and food, music and bonfires greeting you at the end, the Dirty Leprechaun 5K will leave you feeling lucky!

I just ran the My Muddy Valentine race at Lee Farms on February 11th and it was an absolute blast!  The course was so much fun.  It was challenging but not impossible and of course it was incredibly muddy!  I highly recommend wearing your junkiest pair of running shoes or even buying a pair with the intent to discard them after the race.  That is, if you even still have both of them by the end.  Beware of the mud!  It will suck your shoes right off if they’re not tied tightly!

The course will be similar to the My Muddy Valentine run. Obstacles will include things such as mud pits, water troughs, slip n’ slide, walls to scale, uphill-ball-rolling and more!

After you finish, there are bonfires, covered areas, music, food and libations to enjoy.  If you don’t plan on showering or changing, bring a towel (or five!) to sit on in the car!  Oh yes, there will be mud!

Commemorative t-shirt, medal and chip-timing device are all part of the package.  Hot showers may be purchased for $5.  E
