Coach Jim’s free group long run: Saturday, February 11, 2017

Coach Jim’s run this weekend is another two-parter. He sets them up this way for a good reason: runners training for a half marathon can run just one segment while those training for a full can run both. It’s also nice for those of us not training for anything right now that just want to run with a group on Saturdays! His runs are free and open to everyone, whether you’ve been before or not!

This Saturday’s run will leave Grand Central Bakery at 714 N. Freemont Street at 8a. Remember, park on the street and not in the GCB lot; leave those spaces for their usual Saturday traffic.

The first run is an 8-mile loop around Northeast Portland’s Irvington and Grant Park neighborhoods. The second is an 11-mile out and back; look at the first 5.5 miles of this route to see how far you’ll get before turning around. You can RSVP for this run on Coach Jim’s facebook page here.
