The first route this week is an 8.6-mile out and back which includes a climb up Mt. Tabor for some good views. The second loop is another 8.5-miler that runs through Reed College, Eastmoreland, and Sellwood before heading back to the store.
If you’re running a spring marathon, these runs are set up for you to hit your mileage goals. Coach Jim and his pacers are all volunteers, so be sure to thank them! They are also very nice people with a lot of racing experience, so you can pepper them with questions about what to eat, how to warm up, and when to start your taper. If you’re running a spring half marathon, you can just do part of the mileage that matches up with your plan!
