Race Preview: 2017 Bristow Trail Runs

Around and around we go, on the loop-de-loop we run. If it sounds fun to be “loopy”, go fast on flat single track trail, run in beautiful wooded forests, and cross some flowing streams along the beautiful Willamette River, then the Bristow Trail Runs is for you. This race is being held at The Elijah Bristow State Park in Dexter. “Now stay out of my lab” and instead head for the beauty of rural Lane County (a quote for all you Dexter’s Lab fans).

This race is made up of 5.2 mile loops, and distances can go anywhere from a 5-miler to a 50k distance.

Date: Saturday, February 4th, 2017

Time: 8:30am – 50K, 10am – All other distances – staggered start times

Packet Pickup: On race day, Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 7:30am to 9:45am

The price:

  • 50k – $55
  • 25k – $40
  • 10 miler – $35
  • 5 miler – $30

All these prices are through Friday, February 6th, 2016. Take $5 off for anyone 17 and under or anyone 60 and older. Add an extra $10 on race day. Tech shirts are available for an additional $12.

Additional information:

There will be two aid stations along the looped course. Each will be passed twice per loop, so you will see them a total of four times each loop. This is in addition to the Start/ Finish line aid, which anyone running more than the 5-mile option will see multiple times. Aid stations will be stocked with water, Gatorade, GU Energy Gel & Electrolyte Brew Tablets, light snacks and basic first aid – anyone needing any other aid supplies can bring the supplements of their choice, and drop it at an aid station prior to the event (all aid stations are at the road intersections)
