What Run Oregon is Wearing: Rabbit Long Legs running tights (DISCOUNT AND GEAR GIVEAWAY!)

You could probably describe me as being “very vanilla” in terms of the running gear that I wear as I tend to stick with one brand, plain designs, and only a couple of different color schemes (black and grey, mostly). To get an opportunity to test out some gear from Rabbit Running Apparel was a bit of a change up, but one I was super excited for. Right off the bat, the first thing that stood out to me about their gear was the asymmetry included in most of their designs.

For those, like myself, who are not familiar with Rabbit Running Apparel, the company’s site offers up a more detailed description of how the Santa Barbara company came to be, titled “Our Story.” Rabbit Running Apparel prides itself in ethical, sustainable manufacturing. In fact, all of their gear is manufactured in Los Angeles. Being within close proximity to the manufacturing facilities allows the company to travel back and forth to track and monitor production as well as ensure safe and ethical working environments for everyone involved.

Company: Rabbit Running Apparel
Product: Women’s Long Legs – Running Tights
Price: $90

The Long Legs running tights are made from an 88% polyster/12% spandex blend and offer up four way stretch, which allows for movements of all types. The thicker, moisture-wicking material is perfect for cold weather conditions, but thin enough to not feel like you’re suffocating, even on those longer runs. They include a wide waistband that features dual front internal pockets and a back zipper pocket to safely stash any other small running necessities. The Long Legs are black with white strips, and include a grey patch on the front left leg. A small dime sized Rabbit Running Apparel logo can be found on the right calf leg. Size options include XS to Large.

I would like to just say that these are officially my favorite running tights. The one thing I really like about the Long Legs is that they are not high-waisted like some of my other running tights. This is merely a personal and comfort preference. Another thing I love about these tights is how soft and comfortable they are. Right out of the box I had to put them on. I have not only run a half marathon in these tights, but I also wear them regularly to just run errands. I have gotten many compliments on them as well. The asymmetrical design gives them a very original and chic look. If I absolutely had to pick one negative thing about them, I would say that I wish the rabbit logo on the back was reflective, simply because I think that would have been cool. Otherwise, I would absolutely recommend the Long Legs for anyone, as they are just as flattering as they are comfortable.

Rabbit Running Apparel offers up high quality gear for men and women, as well as other goodies such as hats, bottles, mugs, etc. I guarantee you’ll find something you love, even if you’re like me, “very vanilla.”
