Calling all chefs and runners! Oregon State University’s College of Public Health and Human Sciences is hosting it’s 4th Annual Gridiron Chef 1K & 5K Fun Run. Support the Oregon State KidSpirit and Faculty and Staff Fitness programs by participating in this football themed obstacle run with a tailgate celebration at the finish. The football-themed obstacle course begins at the Women’s Building and ends with a touchdown back at the Women’s Building for the College Tailgate. Enjoy food, drinks, adult beverages and samples of the GridIron Chef finalists’ recipes, and then vote for your favorite! Obstacles will be made up of football drills that each participant will navigate through on the Oregon State campus to the final touchdown celebration at the finish.

When: Saturday, November 19th. Kid’s Challenge at 9:30 a.m. 5K Challenge at 9:45 a.m. Tailgate begins at 10:15 a.m

Registration: Entry is $35, or $30 for OSU faculty, staff, students and alumni, or $15 for children under 18, and includes admission to the GridIron Chef tailgate event, which begins at 10:15 a.m

- and plenty of door prizes for all who are present and participated including Bob’s Red Mill gift cards.
Race Day Information:
1K Participants: will run around 1K distance and along the way complete 4 football drill stations.
5K Participants: will run around 5K distance and along the way complete 8 football drill stations. Think of this as your training. You will do agility based drills, run conditioning, then perform strength drills all before you finish with your best TD celebration.
Free showers will be provided by KidSpirit, so bring a towel and change of clothes if you want to clean off and get warm before tailgating.
