The Silver Falls Trail Runs, which features a 50k, a marathon, a half marathon and a 7 miler, has grown from 500 runners in 2010, to now 2200+ runners. You can read more about the event’s history here: History of the Race. A portion of the proceeds from this incredibly popular event will help park restoration, cleanup, maintenance, trail building and also benefits Drakes Crossing Rural Fire Department.

Unofficial printed results will be posted during and after the race near the start/finish area under the tent. Awards will be given at the conclusion of each race to the top 3 male and female overall and top 3 in age groups; Age groups are every 5 years. There will also be chances for other race participants to win raffle prizes at the awards ceremony. Every race finisher will receive a custom medal. The Silver Falls Trail Runs will give all race participants the opportunity to run above, around, and behind some of the most spectacular, jaw dropping waterfalls the Pacific Northwest has to offer. It’s no wonder this event attracts some of the biggest crowds, bringing in runners from 30 states and Canada. If you missed out this year, mark your calendars for 2017.
