Small Race Preview: 2016 Running Y Fun Run (Klamath Falls)

If you’re looking for a great destination race this fall and you would like to include the whole family, check out the Running Y Ranch in Klamath Falls. An all-season resort near Crater Lake, Running Y Ranch offers white water rafting in the summer, snowshoeing in the winter, hiking, kayaking, geocaching and fly fishing. The onsite, 18-hole, Arnold Palmer golf course, multi-sports center and full-service spa are definite draws as well.

Added to these great activities is an annual 5K fun run that follows a path through the resort, including around the golf course. The run, now in its 10th year, benefits the Klamath Animal Shelter’s Spay & Neuter program. You can sign up for this run as an individual or as a team of 5 or more!

The race is 100% family and pet friendly. The resort simply requests that all animals are kept on a leash at all times.
