The Bowerman Track Club is an Oregon-based running group ranging from youth to professional to masters runners, joined together as one team. The BTC was founded in 2003 as a track club for Nike employees and named the Bowerman Athletic Club after former University of Oregon coach and Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman. Over the past 11 years the club has developed a thriving youth program with over 120 members. In 2014, the professional athletes training with Jerry Schumacher were added to the group and it became the Bowerman Track Club.

The group run, which offers distances of 3, 5 and 7 miles, will be supportive of all paces.

About Author

We started the Run Oregon blog in February 2007, because felt like running in Oregon and SW Washington deserved more positive coverage. We also wanted to level the playing field so that small, non-profit races could compete with big events; and to support local race organizers.
