Our newest Kickstarter of the Week is already funded with over a month and half left on their campaign. It’s not surprise that these affordable running shorts from TrueREVO are getting support from the Kickstarter community.
The TrueREVO Smart Performance Shorts (or SPS, for short), have a variety of unique features. Those of us who run with our cell phones for safety or music, will definitely appreciate these.
I am personally not someone who wears an armband (too uncomfortable for me), and my running belt – while great – is something I’d prefer not to wear. One “problem” I have with many running shorts are the lack of pockets – and even the ones with pockets aren’t conducive for lugging around an iPhone. The SPS shorts have utilized the inner tights and added a pocket on them to keep the phone snug.
Beyond that, if you don’t have wireless headphones, the SPS also have an earphone slot in the shorts themselves – making it easy to connect in.
Those are both great and simple ideas that really would work for someone like me. But even though these features area main focus, it doesn’t appear that the construction of the shorts are an afterthought. The SPS are described as being anti-stink and bacterial, as well as having that four way stretch on the inner tights that many of us need. The outer part of the shorts will have reflective qualities, as well as being fit with 2 normal pockets so that items like keys and energy packets are not neglected.
It is anticipated that orders will be fulfilled by November 2016.
