First Thursday is this Thursday

July’s First Thursday is here (already) so get your friends together and mark your calendar to head to NW Portland and go for a run (or walk). As always, the maps come out at 6p, the raffle starts at 7p, and the party goes until 8p.

This is a FREE event, open to runners and walkers, hosted by locally-owned Fleet Feet Sports PDX. Remember, it’s not a race; you need to stay safe and obey all traffic laws.

The details: 

When: Thursday, July 7, 2016

What time: The run starts at 6p but people start showing up as early as 5:15p

Where: On NW 22nd Ave, between Quimby and Raleigh, near Fleet Feet PDX at 2258 NW Raleigh

Register: Onsite by signing a waiver, or ahead of time online here for a few extra raffle tickets when you check in

Bring: Your ID if you plan on getting a beer, smartphone or camera, and dry clothes to change into after running – I also recommend bringing as many friends as you can!

Park: On surface streets; the streets to the immediate northeast of the start location are usually pretty clear
