Portland Marathon Clinic run for June 11, 2016

Join the Portland Marathon Clinic this Saturday, June 11, for a 12, 13, or 15-mile run starting from their sponsor Road Runner Sports’ Tualatin location.

All runners will start out on the same loop, which heads away from the freeway and into Tualatin’s residential neighborhoods. After passing Legacy Meridian Park Hospital and Ibach Park, you’ll cross I-5 on SW Sagert St. and then head south on your Tualatin tour. From there you’ll head north. The 12-milers will turn back before SW Avery, the 13-milers a half-mile further on, and the 15-milers will get nearly to Tualatin Rd. There will be an aid station at the 5-mile mark, but you need to bring your own nutrition and hydration to be safely prepared for this distance.

Arrive by 7:45a and find your pace group leaders. Groups take off with the fastest groups going first. There are restrooms at Ibach Park if you need them, as well.

About Kelly Barten (1152 Articles)
I started the Run Oregon blog in February 2007, because I felt like running in Oregon and SW Washington deserved more positive coverage. I also wanted to level the playing field so that small, non-profit races could compete with big events; and to support LOCAL race organizers. I'm a Creighton Bluejay (undergrad) and an Oregon Duck (Sports Marketing MBA), and I live in Tigard with my husband and two kids. My "real job" is working for an incredibly awesome math textbook company doing marketing and production.
