Race Preview: 2016 Portland Undy Run & Walk

There is a running joke amongst Run Oregon bloggers that I wear nothing but speedos or underwear when I run. I probably have no one to blame for this (untrue!) rumor, given my propensity to try out men’s underwear. So when the 2016 Portland Undy Run and Walk came across our preview desk, it was pretty evident who was going to be writing about it!

This 5k event is put on by the Colon Cancer Alliance. They just had their kickoff at Portland Brewing Taproom on May 21 (which I saw during one of our exchanges during the Gorgeous Portland Pub Relay. A course map is not available, but you may be able to hypothesize a course that is being held at Portland Meadows. Participants will receive a pair of logo boxer shorts – a cool and unique finishing prize.

Registration fees go towards helping the Colon Cancer Alliance and other local partners.

Portland Undy Run and Walk
When: Saturday, June 18 at 9am
Where: Portland Meadows
