EXTRA Kickstarter of the Week: Ben Nevis Apparel underwear

Location:  The Hague, Netherlands
Kickstarter End Date:  April 30, 2016
Current Pledge: $12,075 of $9,598 **Goal Met**
I know it’s weird, but I am always on the prowl for new mens underwear. I have reviewed a bunch of pairs over the past few years – from standard cotton pairs to fancy fabrics. There are a lot of comfortable pairs out there and some that grew on me (well, not literally). I stumbled upon these when searching for our next Kickstarter of the Week and wanted to get a post up before the campaign ended. Here is a description about the Ben Nevïs apparel underwear via their campaign:

Ben Nevïs underwear is made from superfine merino wool. This wool is field tested for hundreds of years by sheep. These sheep travelled to Australia, Argentina, Morocco, Spain, South-Africa and many more countries.

People found out that the wool coat kept the sheep warm in cold climates and cool on hot sunny days. And after a rain shower the merino sheep became dry in no time. And do you know why everybody loved the sheep? Their wool doesn’t hold odors. Enough reason for us to believe that merino wool is the best fabric for underwear. It is superior to polyester and cotton and has a super soft feel. Merino wool is not itchy, you can wear it directly on the skin. Even if you have a sensitive skin.

The really unique thing about these pairs is that they come with 2 pockets. Now, I have worn pairs with small pockets, but these have two actual pockets – one large and one small. As seen in the image above, the large can fit ID cards and/or credit cards and the small can fit smaller items, like a key, chapstick, or earphones. You can pledge for about $25 and receive a pair.

They are starting with one design and color to speed up processing – something that Kickstarter supporters should appreciate. Sometimes, companies try too much in their campaigns and stuff gets delayed. By keeping it simple, stuff should ship by the end of May.
