What Run Oregon Is Trying: Endorphin Warrior Training Bracelet GIVEAWAY and hydraAROMATHERAPY

Run Oregon sometimes receives products to review.  Here are our impressions of Endorphin Warrior and hydraAROMATHERAPY.

Endorphin Warriors Training Bracelet (Teresa)

I’m a sucker for mantras and inspirational quotes. I know I annoy each and every one of my Facebook friends with my ‘motivational’ rhetoric and my family gets equally annoyed with my ‘uplifting’ artwork in every room. Even knowing that, I can’t control myself. I’m obsessed with the power of positive thinking in pretty much everything, including my tattoo. I picked CARPE DIEM for my permanent bracelet, but there are so many great mantras out there and I found a pain-free way to experience more of them: Endorphin Warriors.

I’m probably the last person to discover these training bracelets with different sayings on the front and I pretty much want all of them. Lightweight, but able to hold up through some serious sweat sessions, you can wear this fun jewelry on a run, ride or anywhere you want a little extra push. They are cute enough you could wear them on a date, like ‘regular’ jewelry, although I would probably keep a separate stash for a night on the town.

Their website has rings, necklaces and all sorts of empowering goodies. I tested out the leather band with PERSEVERE. I ordered a small and think my wrists are pretty average size, but will order an Extra Small next time. I’m fine with it being a little on the loose side, it just means I’ll need to get a couple more to stack them. It didn’t make me run any faster on my neighborhood 5k, but I loved the message and can’t wait to wear it for my next endurance event. Two of my loves: mantras and jewelry. It’s almost too much that they are made for endurance sports, another passion of mine. I’d love to see these move from leather to up-cycled materials or something synthetic, but I’m still in love with the product.

While I feel like these were made for me, I’m sure I’m not alone. Guys and girls can both get excited with Endorphin Warrior products, since they are unisex and come in extra small through extra large. Even more exciting, our Run Oregon readers can enter our giveaway for a free training bracelet. They might not make you run or ride any faster, but they look cute and give a powerful reminder. You can collect different bands, depending on your mood and change them out when appropriate. These won’t annoy my friends on Facebook and I’m out of space for inspiring décor, perfect timing. So many to choose from, I’m like a kid in a candy store trying to pick. A whole lot cheaper and less painful than a tattoo, I’m pretty excited to start this new collection.

GIVEAWAY INFORMATION: Endorphin Warrior is giving away one Warrior Training Bracelet of your choice as well.  The contest will run through 3/22/16. Click here to enter the Rafflecopter giveaway.

hydraAROMATHERAPY’s “Headache Buster” Bathtub Tea (Jessica)

Product: Shower Bursts and Bathtub Tea
Price: $5 each or $20 for 4 piece variety pack (Amazon)

“Shower Bursts deliver amazing aromatherapy while you shower. Made with all-natural ingredients and pure essential oils, they are a fun and unique way to enjoy aromatherapy every day.”

“Bathtub Teas are handmade with all-natural herbs, flowers and essential oils, providing all the therapeutic benefits of an herbal bath without the mess. They can be used in the bathtub or as a facial steam. Bathtub Teas fit nicely inside of a greeting card.”

I am a connoisseur of wellness products, natural products, and supporting boutique (small) style businesses, handmade items, and products made in the USA. I am pleased to share with you that hydraAROMATHERAPY is all of those. I had the pleasure of testing the “Bathtub Tea” (Wellness Variety Pack) and the “Shower Burst” (Wellness Variety Pack and Signature Variety Pack).

I wanted to start by sharing a little bit about the company, as their story really makes the products exceptional:

hydra had its humble beginnings as an independent retailer selling bath products in San Francisco. Now thirteen years later, we work with over 2,000 boutique shops across the country. Glancing at our first wholesale catalog from 2006, it’s clear how far we’ve come and we are proud and excited about our 2015 offering. As hydra continues to grow, we want to maintain our position as a boutique product. We understand what it means to be a small business and we value one-on-one relationships with our gift retailers.

Now to the products! The Bathtub Tea is an amazing post-race pamper-party. I have used both the “Stress Buster” and hydraAROMATHERAPY's Signature Shower Burst Variety Pack hydraAROMATHERAPY’s Signature Shower Burst Variety Packthe “Headache Buster” specifically for post-race recovery, and they work wonders for my achy muscles and mental well-being. You know when you run a race really fast, putting everything you have on the course; or, you run a long-distance event and feel mentally drained afterward? These Bathtub Teas are a decadent way to relax. “Drop one Bathtub Tea into your hot bath to enjoy the aromatherapy experience. Bathtubs Teas offer all the therapeutic benefits of an herbal bath, without the mess!” Other varieties of Bathtub Tea that would be excellent for post-race recovery would include the “Healing” and “Refresh“.

The Shower Burst products are equally as amazing. I specifically used the “Cold & Flu Buster” “Relax” and “Clarity” products. I can’t WAIT to use the remaining aromatherapy scents I received in the variety packs. A sachet is provided, so you simply unwrap the Shower Burst, place it in the sachet, and hang it in the shower. These will last for multiple showers (I can easily get two long showers out of a single burst). I just love, love, love these!

While these products are great for runners, and post-race/running recovery, they are incredible for just using to give yourself a delightful pampering.
