Level 32 Racing presents the final trail run in the 2015 Run Big Trail Series (RBTS), the Frozen Trail Run Fest on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
Trail runners take note! Saturday, December 12, 2015 is the sixth and final trail event for the 2015 Run Big Trail Series (RBTS) will be taking place!
Level 32 Racing, organizers of the popular RBTS, will be on site at Mt. Pisgah in Eugene, Oregon. Distances to choose from are a 50k, 15-miler, 9-miler and 5k. The 50k will have an 8 hour time limit.
Expect muddy, or frozen, trail conditions, short sections of gravel, and small creek crossings depending on which distance you choose. The 50k will be four loops, with each loop gaining around 800 to 1,000 feet of elevation. The 15-miler is two loops, each with the same gain as the 50k. The 9-miler will be one loop, featuring about 900 feet of elevation gain. The 5k is very challenging. 5k participants will spend from mile 1.32 to 1.9 climbing straight up the mountain!
Aid stations will be scattered about the course, featuring GU Brew and GU Energy Gel, light snacks, water and first aid. Each course map will show the aid stations provided for the distance.
The Frozen Trail Runfest proves to be an excellent event, and a great way to finish out the 2015 Run Big Trail Series set of events by Level 32 Racing. Enjoy!
