The fifth annual North County Wine Run is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th in Ridgefield WA. The run is open to runners and walkers of most speeds – there is a four hour course limit on the half marathon. The 5k starts half an hour after the half marathon, and 5k participants will complete their run in time to cheer most half marathoners to the finish.
The course takes runners through the fields and neighborhoods of Ridgefield WA. The 5k course is mostly rolling/flat, while the half marathon has its most significant elevation loss and re-gain around mile 7. After the run, participants and guests (at an extra fee) can enjoy the finish line festival, which includes music, wine samples, and food from various vendors. Have your drivers licence or other government issued ID ready to redeem your wine glass.
