This is the period of marathon training that tends to be the most tedious. You're doing long runs every weekend, and even though you know it's on the horizon, the race is still far enough away that excitement hasn't yet set in.
Good. While there are some benefits to being excited, there are also benefits to dialing in a pace and training your body to get past the race-day adrenaline. Trust in the training and stick to your plan - even if you are feeling great, don't push the pace!

What time: The run starts at 8a. Be there no later than 7:45, allowing time to find parking and get to the store
Bring your own hydration and nutrition for the run, and if it does in fact rain this weekend as some forecasts show, you’ll be able to test out your rain gear on a long run … just in case.
