It is wildly known in our blogger circle that the two biggest beer drinkers at Run Oregon are myself and Marilyn. We collaborated on a post about running and drinking. I have now been to over 150 breweries in the past 15 months and, as of this writing, Marilyn has drunk over 1520 unique beers (follow us on Untappd here and here, respectively). Naturally, when it comes to something that beer-related, but also something that fits into our running needs, it’s a big plus. Enter ManCan.
The ManCan 64 has been in production for a couple of years, but the new ManCan 128 is what this Kickstarter campaign is all about! In order to get this bad boy made and in your fridge, we need your support.
The ManCan company is building a tribe that cares about the beer they drink, wants to support their local craft breweries, and realizes that beer at home can be fantastic! Join the ManCan revolution. It’s all about the beer!
While the ManCan isn’t exactly a “running staple”, Marilyn and I have discussed ad nauseam the need for, not only a solid growler (or three), but also a nice cool craft beer after a long run. But that’s not always the case and it doesn’t mean that it wouldn’t be great to have your favorite beer cool, carbonated and at the ready when you get home. THe ManCan is like a brewery in your fridge – which just happens to be their tagline.
As part of the campaign, you can pledge smaller amounts ($25 and under) for ManCan gear, a 64-ounce version for $30 or with the CO2 sytem for $99, or the full 128 version for $115.
