The Taste of Historic Parkrose 5k/10k run/walk takes place in conjunction with the annual street fair on Saturday, June 13th, 2015. Runners and walkers of all speeds and abilities are invited to participate. Proceeds from the race will benefit Parkrose High School Athletics.
The course for both race distances runs on paved neighborhood streets. The 5k is an out-and-back course from Sandy Blvd to Parkrose High School and back again, while the 10k loops the Parkrose neighborhood. A 1/4 mile “little kids” run is also being planned.
After the run/walk, participants can enjoy the sights and activities of the Taste of Historic Parkrose street fair, which includes food samples, art displays, vendors, community events information, music, and play areas.
