Race Preview: 2015 Cinco de Mayo Run/Walk coming on May 3rd

The 12th Annual Cinco de Mayo Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd and includes a party at Pioneer Courthouse Square.  This event offers a 5k and 10k, with a flat and fast course through downtown Portland.  All participants will receive a technical shirt, food at the finish line and the over 21 crowd can enjoy some Lagunitas Brewing Company beer. The 10k begins at 8:20 AM on Sunday, May 3rd and the 5k will start at 9 AM. There will also be a kid’s half mile run, with details to come. 

Register before April 21st, to beat the next price increase. The 10k is $46 through April 21st, $54 between April 22nd and April 30th and $64 on race weekend. The 5k is $42 through April 21st, $49 between April 22nd and the 30th and $56 on race weekend.  Participants registering after the 21st will not be guaranteed an event shirt. Packet pick up will take place Friday, May 1st from 11 AM- 7 PM and Saturday, May 2nd from 10 AM- 3 PM at Road Runner Sports in Portland (29 NW 23rd Place).

The Cinco de Mayo Run/Walk includes a fun course through downtown Portland and entertainment along the way. Party at the finish line with food, beer and entertainment, all in the heart of the city. The Cinco de Mayo Run is a Portland tradition and a not so traditional way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
