Race Preview: Lucky Clover 5K and 10K in Springfield Oregon March 14th 2015

It’s that “Lucky” time of the year again! Have you chosen your St. Patrick’s Day running event yet? There are certainly plenty to choose from. You can go big (like 35,000 people big) you can go small or in between, road or trail and now you can even choose to run in the morning or evening. The Lucky Clover 5k and 10k, held on Saturday, March 14 in Springfield, starts at 5:00 pm. I know a lot of crazy runners who have been known to run two races in the same day. Having a later afternoon start provides the perfect opportunity to do that.

This event offers three different options: There’s a 5K on a dirt and bark chip trail or a paved 5K along the river. The 10K course covers both 5K courses.
