On Saturday, March 14th, 2015 come out and enjoy the Shamrock Run and you may get lucky and PR! Don’t forget your green for this annual run that offers up a 5 mile run/walk and a leprechaun lap with Irish Mike. The event is sponsored by Southern Oregon Runners and is a “runner of the year” event.
The event is held at Crater High School and starts on the track heading out and back on the new extended and safer part of the Bear Creek Greenway. Registration is available online until 3/8 here and day of race registration is also available. Packet pickup will be race day on the track from 7:30 – 8:30. The leprechaun lap for the kids starts at 8:50 and the 5 mile starts at 9:00.
The race is chip timed and ribbons will be handed out for top finishers in all age groups. After the event random drawings for participants will be held. No roller skates, bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, dogs, headphones, or unregistered participants.
