2014 Running Black Friday Deals

I'm a racing addict. I admit it. And with being a racing addict one of my problems consists of trying to run as many races as I can while staying to my racing  budget. This is where Black Friday comes in to play. Every year on black friday many racing companies put out discounts on their races and stores drop their prices on running gear. These deals may consist of a flat rate for all races, a percentage off of their races, or a special deal for the first number of people to sign up. Either way, Black Friday has become an important day when planning my racing schedule. The following is a list of the information I have found when researching the 2014 Black Friday Deals:

Xterra PDX is having 50% off of all of their races all weekend.

Warrior Dash has all of their races on sale for $39.99. This is a huge savings. Sale goes from Friday, November 28th at 12am and lasts until Monday December 1st, at 11:59pm

Spartan races are on sale for 20% off with the discount code BLACK20. Sale valid until Sunday, November 30th at 11:59pm

Get Bold Events has their Blooms to Brews Marathon for $20 off for the first 10 to register to use promo code B2BBLACK20, and $10 off to the next 50 to register using the promo code B2BBLACK10. The Blooms to Brews half marathon is $15 off to the first 10 to register using the promo code BLACKHALF15 and $10 off to the next 50 to register using the promo code BLACKHALF10. The 10k is $10 off to the first 10 to use the promo code BLACK10K10 and $5 off to the next 50 to register using the promo code BLACK10K5.

The Twelve Bridges Relay is having a cyber sale valid through December 1st. Registration is only $390 for a 6 person team, $260 for a 4 person team, $195 for a 3 person team, $130 for a 2 person team, or $65 solo.

The ORRC Champoeg 30k/20k/10k registration opens Friday and have discounts posted on their facebook page.

The Hood to Coast Relay Series is giving away a free gift (announced friday) when you register for the 2015 Hippie Chick Quarter & Half Marathon, Reach the Beach, or Helvetia 10k & Half Marathon by Saturday at midnight.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series is giving $15 off registrations with the discount code COLORBF15. Offer is good until Sunday, November 30th ad 11:59pm.

Energy Events is supposed to have a black friday sale. Check their facebook page for information.

Portland Running club is having sales at their store from Friday until Sunday, November 20th. All apparel will be 15% to 50% off retail prices. A lot of shoes will be marked down between 25% and 50% off retail prices.

Tough Mudder is selling all their store merchandise for up to 60% off.

REI is having black friday sales, including 40% off the Garmin Forerunner 910XT GPS Heart Rate Monitor and a headlamp for night-time runner.

Electric run‘s black Friday sale consists of 50-60% off of everything.
