If you’re spending Thanksgiving in beautiful Central Oregon, don’t miss out on the Bend Thanksgiving Classic. This 5K and 10K run and walk is sure to be a hit with the whole crew before you sit down to stuff yourself.
This annual event starts at the Old Mill District and runs along the scenic Deschutes River and local roadways. 5K runners and walkers will complete one loop while 10Kers will complete the loop twice. See course map here.
The Bend Thanksgiving Classic supports the Boys and Girls Club and Girls on the Run of Deschutes County . Girls on the Run is a positive youth development program for girls in 3rd – 8th grades and teaches life skills while promoting physical activity through running.
