Mini Race Preview: The Pioneer Road Run in Phoenix, OR

Saturday, November 8th will be the 44th annual Pioneer Road Run held in Phoenix, Oregon. This is Southern Oregon’s oldest road run which was founded in 1977. With 2 distances to chose from the 9 mile and 5k course both start and finish at Phoenix High School. Both courses are out and back through the city of Phoenix.

There is a free kids run that starts at 8:15 followed by the 9 mile run at 8:30 and the 5k at 8:45. Registration can be done online, and day of race registration is also available. Packet pick up is race day from 7:30 – 8:30 in the high school commons. Ribbons will be awarded to top 3 finishers in all age groups, and trophies to top male and female high school 5k winners.

Cost:  For both runs through 11/5  $17 for non club members, $12 for SOR club members, and $7 for youth 18 and under. Late and day of race registration is $20
