On Saturday, September 27th, 2014 the 3rd annual Scrubs Run/Walk 10k will take place at Cheadle Lake in Lebanon, Oregon. The 10k race is put on by COMP-Northwest’s student group, called the Recreating Networking Club, and all proceeds will go to East Linn Community Clinic who will use the funds to provide the basic clinic supplies necessary for daily operations.

The race takes place at 9am  with race day registration available that morning starting at 7:30am. Although not required, the Recreation Networking Club, encourages people to show up in scrub tops to help increase awareness about the medical school in Lebanon, Oregon. Included with registration is your choice of a dri-fit short or a scrub top. Registration must be complete by September 18th in order to guarantee a shirt.

The course is a loop that starts at Cheadle Lake and takes runners and walkers along the South Santiam River before going through town and then back to Cheadle Lake. This looks like a very scenic and beautiful route.

Online registration is available here as well as an option for paper registration at either the Leganon Chamber of Commerce (download form here), or at Western University of Health Sciences, in Lebanon, Oregon. Registration is $35 online or by paper before race day or $40 on the day of the race.
