Race Preview: Camp Morrow 1K and 5K Fun Run (and Fun – Raiser)

A fun day of activities awaits for all ages at the Camp Morrow Fun Run and fundraiser. Proceeds to directly benefit Camp Morrow, a Christian Camp located in Central Oregon. Join them on Sept. 20th for a 1K kids' dash and a 5k walk/run followed by several activities sure to bring enjoyment.

Starting at 8am, registration will begin and the kids’ dash will start at 9am.  This is a 1K (0.6 miles) loop within the camp. At 9:30, the 5K run/walk will begin. The 5k route is almost a complete loop around Pine Hollow Reservoir.

Camp Morrow is located in a beautiful area that is described as one of Oregon’s best kept secrets. Located east of Mt. Hood in beautiful Wamic, Oregon, it is just a two and a half hour drive from downtown Portland and Bend.

Following the race, there is a ton to do. Activities  will include: Climbing wall, pony rides, wagon rides, bounce house, mini-golf, canoeing, inflatables and more!An auction will be held at 11am and will host an array of items such as tractors, cars, hay wagons, porch swings and other furniture, antiques, tools and much more. A cafeteria style lunch will be available for purchase from 11:30am – 1:30pm (with items such as pizza and hotdogs).

 Some of the activities listed above will require tickets that can be purchased and some activities will be free.

The soundss like a beautiful area and a scenic drive to usher in the start of Fall.

Registration:  $5 for Kids’ 1K and 10$ for 5K without a shirt.  Shirts are an additional $10.
