Canby Dahlia Half Marathon & 10K is a well run race event and is one not to be missed for sure!
I’ve run it, my brother has run it, and several friends, and we all have the same opinion in common – this is one amazing small town race! hat’s right, if you are looking for bang for your buck, and great scenery, and a relatively flat course, you cannot go wrong with this race. Check out the previous race preview here by Annette Vaughn.
This course takes you through the city and the downtown but mostly the country. The race is on the same weekend as the Dahlia Festival, and I really enjoyed going to that festival after the race and getting to ‘stop and smell the flowers’ as I was unable to do during the race. There is also a car show in addition to the festival, there is also music, food, and many more events in town all weekend. So it is more like an experience than just a race.
There are tons of previews and comments on why this reace is so awesome. Check it out and you will find out why!
