Race Preview: CityScape Adventure

CityScape Adventure Logo

CityScape Adventure is coming to Portland on Saturday, August 16. “If you are looking for something more than a 5K or afternoon hike, then this is the race for you,” says CityScape Adventures. This team event, billing itself as part scavenger hunt and part Amazing Race will test your teamwork, use of resources, and wit as you make your way around Portland.  Teams of up to 6 can costume up – if that’s your style – and enjoy the adventure.

Come prepared with your smartphone and make sure you have a QR Code Reader app installed.  You will also need to bring $10 each, in singles, for the tasks along the way.  While done mostly on foot, participants are allowed to use public transportation if they desire.  Teams must stick together during the entire adventure, regardless of how they choose to get around.  There are even cash prizes for the winning teams along with a variety of other raffle prizes!

CityScape offers their adventures in many locations around the US, including some Virtual Races.  A Portland virtual race is available if you’d like to participate, but just can’t make it on August 16. This is done by using your phone to guide you and your team on a CityScape Adventure at your chosen time and date.  What a great way to get in on the fun on your own schedule!
