Race Preview: X-Dog Events Whine on the Vine 5M (Hillsboro)

X-Dog Events does not organize your typical road race, but instead puts on great adventure races. The "Whine on the Vine" 5 Miler is no exception. In the hills of Hillsboro, participants will run through the rows of vines, over and under and through manmade and natural obstacles, trails, and water hazards towards the finish, while hopefully enjoying some beautiful views. 

To cover the 5-ish miles, runners will not always be able to run, and minor cuts and scrapes are not out of the question. If you didn’t get muddy along the way, the slip and slide towards the end will at least get you soaked.

After the run, enjoy some mimosas, wine tasting, picnic and awards. The race benefits the Newberg Lacrosse team.
