It don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that bling: Blue Laamb Designs

blue-laamb-designs When we talk about "bling" in a running sense, we are typically referencing the race medals that adore our walls (or drawers). But the kind of running bling that Blue Laamb Designs makes are an everyday reminder of the runner you are.

Blue Laamb designs is all about customization. In fact, they made the necklace pictured above for our very own Kelly, complete with her growing family tree (she’s not pregnant – just her young kiddo, I mean), a running shoe, and her true love – no, not her husband Eric – Run Oregon!

Blue Laamb may not be typical “running jewelry” in the sense that some of the charms appear that they would be relatively large and floppy when you are pounding the pavement every day. However, you may be able to best pull it off with a smaller number and charm size. But this appears that it could be a great accompaniment to a casual workout or everyday casual accessory.

While Blue Laamb is not just for runners, they can throw together almost anything that has meaning to you. You have a love affair with your cat? There’s a piece for that? You itching for the Tampa Rays baseball team to make the playoffs? There’s a piece for that. Are you obsessed with Run Oregon? Well obviously there’s a (fantastic) piece for that. Check out their Facebook or Pinterest pages to check out the myriad of options out there. The prices are pretty affordable – ranging from about $12-$20 for most items.
