New race notification: South Santiam Half Marathon in Lebanon on September 20, 2014

south_santiam_half_logoThe same great people who put on the Silver Falls Marathon (and Half) have organized the newest race in their repertoire - the South Santiam Half Marathon. This race is scheduled for Saturday, September 2014 outside of Lebanon. Per the Run Wild Adventures website, it will feature:

Creek crossings, huge fir trees, open meadow, tons of hills, trails, ponds, dirt roads all taking place on private property (Happy Valley Tree Farm) Course begins by heading out scenic and flat dirt road approx 1 Mi before turning onto trails.

We will have more information on this race as it nears, but consider bookmarking their page. The race will be limited to 400 runners, which is expected to fill quickly. Registration is not yet open, but we will tell you as soon as it goes live!
