Energy Events Cosmo 7k 8/9/2014
Energy Events is packing race calendars around the Pacific Northwest with their amazing event line up for 2014. I am thrilled to be participating in two of their races this year, one of those being the Cosmo 7k event on Saturday, August 9th.
Registration is now open for this marvelous, ‘all ladies’ race. As the race is capped at 1,700 lucky participants, please make sure to register early to secure your spot! The race, occurring in the evening at 6 p.m., will wind you through the Ft. Vancouver National Historic site. There is even a pink lemonade aid station along the course! After the race, you will be treated to a Belevedere vodka cosmopolitan under the beautiful sunset (please remember to bring your ID for alcohol – 21+ only). Last year, the race shirts were amazing, so be prepared for an equally incredible race shirt this year. New this year, every participant will receive their very own Cosmo 7k martini glass.
This is a fabulous opportunity to get a bunch of your best friends together and spend an evening running and enjoying the after race events. I can’t wait to get my toes on the starting line and participate this year!
P.S. – If you are a bike rider, make sure to check out the new all-ladies “Champagne Bike Ride” hosted by Energy Events. For those completing both the 7k run on Saturday, and the bike ride on Sunday, you will receive a finisher medal!
