Price Increase: Team Congo PDX’s Group 10K & 5K Walk/Run Fee on January 1

Just a reminder that in 3 short days the registration fee for Team Congo PDX's 10K & 5K Group Walk/Run will increase from $15 to $20 on 1/1/14. The race is on March 8, 2014.. For those unfamiliar, 100% of each participant's registration fee is a direct donation to Women for Women International's Congo program, which provides a one year training program, counseling as well as a micro loan so that the women can begin to support themselves economically within their communities.

This year the event is capped at 230 total participants and it is expected to sell out. Route maps will be posted soon, and this year the group run course for both the 10K & 5K will be on the west side of the Waterfront, with river views for most of the out and back courses. The courses will be marked.

Participants can also purchase an event shirt for $15. The design will be posted to the website soon.
