Kimberly is originally from San Diego, where she lived before attending University of Oregon and falling in love with Oregon. She even told me that even “after almost seven years I still don’t mind the rain.” Currently, she works as an in-house designer for a national staffing, technology and consulting company and does occasional freelance designing on the side. As a fellow runner, she loves reading the Run Oregon blog for race reviews and upcoming events, and it’s where she first heard about our call for help! She loves running the Hood to Coast and half marathons, with Bridge to Brews as her favorite local race.

Run Oregon founder Kelly Barten selected the logo from four competitive finalists, and said, “What I loved about this design is the variation – if we want to use the logo on a mug, the square logo will look great. On a banner, the horizontal logo will work perfectly. I also like the color of blue she chose, and the segments on the letters remind me of ribbons – what every runner deserves for reaching their goals!”
