Baby It’s Cold Outside – Frostbite Run 10k & 5k in Talent on January 11

After the last few weeks of freezing temperatures in the Valley, I am ready for Spring and Summer to come now. But before then, the small Southern city of Talent is not letting Winter leave without a little frostbite. The Frostbite Run 10k and 5k is scheduled for Saturday, January 11.

This race, which is sponsored by the Southern Oregon Runners, starts and finishes at Talent Middle School. The course is simple with the 5k being an out & back on Foss and the 10k an out & back, from Foss to Adams to Colver with the turnaround near Camp Baker Rd. If you are unfamiliar with the area, make sure you check out a Google Map of the area. And even if you have ran this area before, this year’s event is a new course than in the past.

There will be awards following the race, as well as a Running Injury Prevention & Treatment Clinic with local sports medicine professionals.
